Actively control WiFI connections for free
Wifinian is an open-source program that shows you all the wireless profiles on your computer. It’s presented to you as a list, allowing you to connect to the network with the best or strongest signal. You also have the option to delete networks you do not want to connect to. While it is a lightweight, open-source utility program, it's not light on features. You even can view all the wireless LAN profiles you connect to regularly.
View Wi-Fi profiles instantly
Wifinian offers an installer-based and archived version of its program. Regardless of the file you run, both offer the same functionality. The only difference is that the installer-based program is easier to deploy. Here, all your settings will be stored in the user folder. Note that profiles are linked to specific adapters. Without it, the profiles will not be displayed. The archived version is suited for those that can forego the portability features.
Both LAN and WLAN profiles can be created, deleted, and connected from Wifinian. The app will display all available connections, while more connections can be added based on the interval you set. Once set, you will find all the nearby hotspots on the list or at a designated time. This will come in handy when you’re traveling and you have access to multiple Wi-Fi points. The option to reload the list manually is also available.
You can also set a limit to the number of times it will refresh, especially when a Wi-Fi spot is available. Other customization options include changing the order of the profiles and deleting WLAN profiles. Blocking connections is going to be an important feature for users that want to protect their private information from hackers or sleuths. Once deleted, the profile will no longer be on your PC.
Intuitive software to handle WLAN profiles
Overall, Wifinian is a convenient software program that offers you an alternate way to handle the WLAN profiles stored on your device. It helps you to log-in to available profiles and instantly link to the right network, and also uninstall profiles that you no longer want to save on your device.
